Trying to find the silver linings in the storms of life can sometimes leave us feeling discouraged, frustrated and weary. Sometimes it can be hard to find the good in the most terrible and challenging of situations. But God and His Word offers a hope which will be able to weather any and every storm.

Romans 8:28 encourages, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” It’s a matter of perspective and at what vantage point we may be looking at a situation. So let us focus today on the good workings in our lives. Find assurance, encouragement and security in knowing that the Word of God is true and it offers an upswing to every downside.
