“I believe families have forgotten what great power they have when the Lord is the head, that its become so easy to leave Him out, yet even harder to not have Him in. He’s being replaced.  As the Lord declared in Jeremiah 2:32, and I believe He would declare this today, ‘Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me days without number.’ This is sadly symbolic of how the provisions have taken precedence over the Provider. I’ve found in today’s society, because of many different circumstances, there have been many different ways, systems, ideologies and ideals accepted aside from what was initially intended by God.

Now more than ever, families and society as a whole need to remember. I think it was best said by Saint Augustine, we need to, ‘restore to health the eye of the heart whereby God may be seen.’ The Lord moves through families. He moves in generations.  He uses families to build nations.” – Excerpt from “God’s Dynamics: Biblically Building Families”

Our nation and our communities are hurting very badly right now and need the strength of our families. We must choose this day to realign ourselves as families in the Lord.  We must allow the Lord and His word to flow through every aspect of family life – from parenting to marriage, health sex, etc. We must allow ourselves to be used by Him – to build nations, to strengthen society and to heal generations. Remember the Lord TODAY!
